Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gemstone inspection, authentication, record, conduct instrument maintenance and calibration and other daily activities in the gemological laboratory
- Verify the authenticity and other attributes of the gemstone inspected, preparation of reports, certificates and other related documentations, assure the quality and accuracy of the results
- As a HKAS Approved Signatory and assist supervisor to verify and audit testing data and information, signing reports/certificates
- Develop relevant documentation and inspection protocols
- Keep update of the latest gemological information within the industry, provide training and instructions to junior and supporting staff
- Handling where necessary in special projects as assigned

Requirements:
- University degree or above in Geology, Chemistry, Materials Sciences or related areas is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences in gemological laboratory
- With gemstone qualification certificate such as GIA GG and FGA
- Familiar with HOKLAS accreditation and ISO17025 quality system
- Experienced with analytical equipment such as FTIR, Micro-Raman or ICP-MS preferred
- Ability to multi-task and deal with a varied workload, able to work well in a team environment or independently
- Proficient in both English and Chinese for communication & writing
- Less experiences will be considered as Assistant Gemologist
